The following tours are designed to be taken as stand alone tours but can be combined over multiple days. All tours are based on pick up and drop off in Arras, easily accessible by train from Paris.

These tours are recommended for people who want to gain a general understanding of how the war unfolded in these areas

The places you will visit on a typical day will be:

​

Somme (one day) - Thiepval Memorial to the missing, Lochnagar Crater, Newfoundland Memorial Park and Trenches, Hawthorn Ridge, Fricourt German Cemetery.

Artois (one day) - Vimy Ridge Memorial and Trenches, Notre Dame De Lorette French Cemetery, Ablain St Nazaire, Neuville St Vaast German war Cemetery.

Ypres (one day) - Messines Ridge, Hill 60, Langemarck German Cemetery, Tynecot Cemetery, Essex Farm, Menin Gate (Last post ceremony can be included with prior discussion).​

Verdun (two days) - Butte de Vauquois, Fort Douaumont, Ossuaire de Douaumont, Colonel Driant Memorial, Tranchée des Baionettes, Ouvrage de Froidterre.
